Security updates for week 44 of 2026 (from October 26): almost nothing new broke this week, but the two PHP remote code execution flaws, Brotli and GitLab from last issue were all added to the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog; Symfony corrected its own five-month-old "already fixed" statement; WordPress 7.1.4 fixes a weakness in the upgrade process. Every item was checked against the vendor's own advisory, and what we could not confirm is listed too.
